Review: The Cove

I just finished watching The Cove and am at a loss for words but still wanted to post something about it. In April 2007, I blogged about this YouTube video on the Taiji dolphin slaughter. Well, there is now a documentary out that covers the issue. It is an award-winning film and does an amazing job at revealing the truth about the dolphin trading and slaughter that occurs in Taiji, Japan. Please watch this film; I guarantee it will move you.     I haven’t watched the movie yet, I’m afraid to do it. I don’t want to get depressed more than I am, with the continuous snow and everything. Long time ago, a friend showed me a video with men killing baby seals and I was heart broken and still have those images in my head. :(

    I just watched half of the posted link of the movie you have suggested and it has left me misty eyed. It is extremely heart rending to find people slaughtering such harmless animals so brutally.
