Is Obama Too Good Looking?

This has actually been asked of him; whether he thinks that he can relate to working class people even though he looks like a model for the cover of GQ magazine. The best part about this whole thing? His response; it’s hilarious. Take a look.

Yeah his ears are weird, lets not elect him based on that. Seriously though, why are people so obsessed with crap that doesn’t matter. News needs to get things right and start reporting on things that matter. his response is good though. Thanks for sharing.

He leaves decrepit old McCain in the dust. He looks GQ next to him.

His ears, his age, his clothes, his grumpy wife. McCain’s age, his temper, his dumping of his first wife. None of those things have anything to do with their ability to run the country. It’s probably true that either Obama or McCain could do a decent job of running the country. They are both bright men and both seem fairly engaged…although McCain has a much more active track record than Obama…who seems to hold his seat in name more than function. I’ve never seen his name on a bill before…whereas, love it or hate it, McCain-Feingold has been all over the news for years…an attempt to do the right thing about election finance reform.

The real question is: Whose policies do you prefer? I generally prefer a strong national defense, and Obama is not that clear on his specific positions yet. His main message is “change”…but change to what?

What I like about Obama is that he says he wants to deal honorably and respectfully even with those with whom he disagrees. There’s too little of that in politics right not. But…I won’t really know where he stands until the general election kicks in. Right now, he’s just talking in generalities.

I already pay half my income in taxes. I can’t afford for him to raise them any more. But I remain open to hear them both out and I’ll make my mind up then.
