I had my final undergraduate class on Wednesday. It was a weird feeling knowing that I’m about to complete my degree and then move on to something else. One part of me is relieved to be done while the other is a bit sad that it has come to an end. Maybe I’m just afraid of not knowing what comes next… and also very excited.
It is a bitter-sweet feeling as I head into my final exams, counting down the days until I graduate and take my next step forward. With that said, I guess I will also share some news that I have yet to write about on my blog: I am heading to Vancouver to live for the summer!
I’ve wanted to go to Vancouver since I was a kid. I think it had something to do with liking the Vancouver Canucks (hockey team) and the excitement I associated the city with because of them. In any case, the city has always been held up on this pedestal for me for some reason and after visiting there two years ago I was not disappointed.
So, since I have no idea what I want to do with my life and since I have an opportunity to enjoy myself without any major commitments, I’ve decided to head West to do some thinking and self-reflection. That’s the news for now; I’ll probably be writing more about it in the coming weeks. As for the immediate future, I’ve got to study for exams!
