For a long time I’ve been trying to sort out what I think about religion. Is religion good/bad, if I were to say I followed one, which would it be, etc, etc. I look at religion and see many positives and many negatives. I wrote a post a little while back about The Golden Compass, expressing how I felt about some of the closed-minded dogmatism behind many followers of religion. Relating to this idea of unquestioned belief is a book by Richard Dawkins called The God Delusion.
I’ve been wanting to read his book for a while now and last week I saw him on television for the first time. I was getting into bed after a work (~6:00am) and was watching CBC Sunday Morning when they featured an interview with him. I was intrigued by what he had to say and found his arguments very interesting. Before this, I knew nothing about Dawkins so I started looking up more of his interviews and lectures on YouTube. After watching about 10 of them, I still think the CBC interview is the best and it has finally been put up on YouTube so I can post it.
Whether you’re religious, non-religious, or questioning your faith, this is a great interview to watch and will definitely challenge you to think outside the box.

I too have heard a lot about this book, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest the time to read it. After watching this interview, however, I’m intrigued. Thanks for sharing it!
