Author and world traveler, Tim Ferriss, has put together a post and video describing his travel packing technique. Although I try to pack light, my bag never ends up looking like something Tim would carry around. To the left you can see the bag I packed for a 3-day trip in the Salvadorian countryside. Something this size would probably last Ferriss an entire trip. He’s got some great pointers that can be used by anyone traveling abroad. My favourite items are the compact MSR towel and the key chain convertible pack. Check out the video and head on over to his site to read the full post.

Wow, that’s all for three days? I usually overpack with stuffs I don’t need. I still have to learn how to put my bag load on a diet.
I met someone on a plane once who was just beginning a seven day holiday in Ibiza, with nothing but the shirt on his back.
And a Gold credit card.
So I guess it can be done
