In the realm of bright ideas, I’m not sure if this one is very high on the list. Someone decided that it would be a good idea to print Nutrition Information on the front of cookies instead of on the box. I don’t think making your customers feel guilty at every bite is a very good marketing strategy, but to each his/her own. I guess you could make yourself feel better by eating the “Calories” end first and the “Vitamin A” section last.
Perhaps the $25 per 2 cookies isn’t great marketing either–do these people actually want to sell cookies? The cookies are claimed to be not just food, but art, which attempts to legitimize the price tag. I don’t know about you, but I think those cakes that have pictures printed on them are much cooler than silly cookies with text on the icing. I foresee another flop due to a not-so-bright idea.

I think it’s good art as I wouldn’t expect anyone to take a bite out of that cookie. Good art in the sense that if the actual nutritional facts are in front us a lot of us wouldn’t eat it.
