Since the creation of PBriscoe.com, I have learned a tremendous amount of information about the blogging community. I don’t think it is an exaggeration when I say that for many people, blogging is a way of life. The community is unbelievably expansive and owns a large chunk of this place we call the internet.
One site that is trying to bring this community closer together is HighFivez.com. I just created an account at HighFivez, which aspires to be “Your guide through the Bloggosphere.†The site acts as a central location where bloggers from all over the world can submit their blog, along with some of their most interesting posts. Basically what the site is trying to do is take the best of the best and gather them in one central location.
Once at the site, you can view what posts are the most popular, most talked about, or most viewed. You can improve your favourite post’s status by giving it a “High Five,†which essentially boosts its rating and makes it more popular. I have submitted my blog, along with a couple posts so if you feel like giving me a High Five, head on over and look me up. Or just go and find out what topics people are reading about.
