Remember when I talked about Toyota’s concept hybrid sports car in my post “Hybrids Are Bringing Sexy Back?” Well, the beauty was finally released at the Detroit Auto Show this week. The car gets superior milage when compared to other cars in its class, but is still a far cry from being truly green. Read the rest of this post for more pictures. The FT-HS is a sports car, stands for Future Toyota Hybrid Sports. It comes with a 3.5-liter V-6 with a new-generation hybrid system to provide a combined output of some 400 hp driving the rear wheels. The would be an evolution of Toyota’s current planetary CVT with discrete ratios selected via paddles.
