Eating Insects in Cambodia!

Here I am in August 2006 eating a grasshopper (edit: it’s a cricket) at Psa Tmei (”New Market”) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Insects are a popular snack in the country and are sold all over the place by locals. I also had a bite of a tarantula (”a-ping”) leg. Those get up to about 7cm and can be seen in the video on the last tray. The taste wasn’t as bad as I had expected and you could get used to it. One of the many great experiences from my trip to Cambodia.
